Blaž Velkavrh began his professional career as an intern in the Maritime Sector at the Water Institute of the Republic of Slovenia. In 2016, he joined OPI Inter as a certified designer and project manager.

Curriculum vitae
Blaž Velkavrh has been employed since 2016 as a certified engineer in the company OPI Inter, a company for environmental, process and marine engineering, d.o.o. Prior to that, he was employed as a designer in the Maritime Sector at the Water Institute of the Republic of Slovenia.
He works on the design of industrial terminals in ports, the design of individual port facilities, especially coastal structures, and the design of tanks for liquid cargo. He began his career after completing his studies in civil engineering – constructive studies at the University of Ljubljana as a student-trainee at the Maritime Department of the Water Institute of the Republic of Slovenia. He is undergoing professional training in Delft (IHE UNESCO Institute) and in Antwerp (Port Educational Center). In recent years, in addition to designing in Slovenia, he has also participated in designing abroad – Jordan, Albania and Montenegro.
